What does it take to be great?

Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit.” – Wilma Rudolph

On May 20, 2016, I received an email from Lewis Howes in which he shared a link to a powerful video titled “The Power of Masterminds and High End Coaching with Bedros Keuilian”.

Lewis is author and founder of “The School of Greatness: A Real-World Guide to Living Bigger, Loving Deeper, and Leaving a Legacy“. He has been doing weekly podcasts on the subject of greatness for three years. His podcast channel currently has more than one million downloads per month.

Lewis’ email grabbed my attention because I have a burning desire to launch high-end mastermind groups and he said Bedros is THE KING of creating powerful, high-level mastermind groups. I want to learn from the best in different areas of expertise.

Without any hesitation, I chose to take a one hour time-out in my work day to watch Lewis’ video interview of Bedros. As a result, I picked up several valuable nuggets to grow my outreach empowering dreams.

When Bedros was asked what the #1 lesson he learned was, he said, “Go to sleep at the same time and get up at the same time. no matter what. Sleep is so underrated.” That really hit home to me because I know REST is the foundation of leverage (multiplication).

After hearing that, I purposed in my heart to press in to make a firm habit of going to bed at 9 pm each night and get up at 5 am. I went tot bed at 9:10 pm that night and woke up at 4:45 am on May 21 full of energy and inspiration.

After feeding Maui (my dog), I went to my sacred place for my sacred time. After praying on my knees and then journaling, I was led to begin reading “The School of Greatness” on my Kindle Fire. WOW! That is so good.

As I was reading Lewis’ book, uncommon ideas and courage welled up within me. It was a remarkable time of flow in the Holy Spirit. I was subsequently led to download several Kindle books written by The Praying Medic and began reading two of those.

Holy Spirit took me on a fascinating journey of discovery and enlightenment as I invested four hours of time communing with the God of Heaven.

I’ve known for several years God’s dream is to exponentially multiply Master’s Mind Marketing tribes (mastermind groups) with the goal of Empowering Dreams. I recognize the power of those to not only change lives, but to transform entire communities and sectors of society.

During one of her Courage of Be Real training sessions, Dr. Susan Austin said, “The awakening of the human spirit happens most effectively through sharing relationships within a small group.”

Blessings to establish daily habits that unlock your greatness!
